Academic Programs

While 十大彩票平台 enjoys a great reputation as the Commonwealth’s only technical community college, we also offer a number of arts and arts-related degrees and certificates, including:

Amy H. Carberry Fine Arts Gallery

The Amy H. Carberry Fine Arts Gallery presents approximately six exhibits each academic year featuring works by artists of local and national repute, as well as 十大彩票平台 student work.

Camera Obscura

The Carberry Gallery also features a unique full-scale camera obscura room. In this camera obscura, you can see Pearl Street, in full color and motion. This room is not just an art piece. It’s also used as an interdisciplinary teaching tool for 十大彩票平台’s optics and photonics and photography programs, among others. 

Brick House Review

The annual 十大彩票平台 literary magazine is a collection of student art pieces that include various formats of creative writing and visual art.

College Theatre Workshop

The College Theatre Workshop provides an opportunity for students to experience the fun of participating in a full-scale theatrical production.

Diversity Speaker & Performance Series

The Diversity Speaker & Performance Series, coordinated by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, brings a global array of speakers and performers to campus.

Ovations Educational & Cultural Event Series

The Ovations Series brings locally and nationally acclaimed writers, artists, political figures, and experts in the fields of science and health to the college. All events are open to the public free of charge.

Springfield Armory National Historic Site

The 十大彩票平台 campus is part of the Springfield Armory National Historic Site, which was established in 1777 by General George Washington. The Springfield Armory is now home to the world's largest museum collection of historic American firearms and hosts numerous musical and historical events each year.

Tech Times

十大彩票平台's student newspaper, Tech Times, is published at least four times per year and features journalistic news, short stories, and other articles of interest to the campus community.

WTCC - 90.7 FM

WTCC-FM is a 4000-watt community radio station broadcasting from the 十大彩票平台 campus. Diverse programming includes live talk shows on subjects of local interest; programs focused on area communities (Latino, Italian, Greek, Portuguese, Polish, Muslim, Native American, and Caribbean); as well as music programs including jazz, gospel, rock 'n' roll oldies, R&B, country/bluegrass, alternative rock, blues, Motown, clubhouse dance, and reggae.
